My process of drawing (1, 06/23)
My drawing process: What always accompanies me when
drawing is the question of how I want to deal with a drawing (or a group of
drawings) later on. On a wall (or on the floor) emerging distances, groups and
spaces between several drawings in different (or same) formats are at least as
important as the act of drawing itself.
For me, the process of drawing is not completed until a selection is made and a
formation (or: setting, ensemble, group) has emerged on a wall or/and on the
floor in relation to the given space. The installative approach to drawing is
essential for me – it becomes a kind of second drawing process where I can rearrange,
see, group and sort out in a more sensitive, emotional and intuitive way and find
new perceptions through composition.
